A volunteers’ favourite, this one! This lush forested setting in Chiang Mai is home to around 30 elephants which have been rescued from a lifetime of abuse working in the tourist trade. You’ll be helping to feed and look after the elephants, conserve their environment and of course taking part in the best time of day – bath time!

You can get involved in wide range of work, from teaching and looking after kids in the local schools to marine conservation and diving, all surrounded by pristine white beaches and sparkling blue water. It will hardly seem like work!
Teach and encourage children varying ages (6-14 years old) to communicate in English through practical lessons and fun learning activities. After the project, head to the tropical paradise of Koh Samet for some much needed relaxation! Picture-perfect beaches, clear waters and a range of bars and restaurants await.
