What will I be doing?
You will get a minimum of 2-6 weeks placement in a European camp as an International Camp Counselor.  You’ll be assisting with language classes, sports and activities and all in your own mother tongue.  You’ll also have the opportunity to explore age old European places such as Munich, Hamburg, the Alps, Barcelona & Valencia.  Not to mention you’ll make lasting friendships with the other counselors and your campers as well. Camp locations include Austria, Germany, Ireland and Spain.

What’s included?
• 1 week language learning and culture integration
• 1 week International Camp Counsellor course
• 2 – 6 week internship placement in a European camp
• Room and board (half board during language course, full board during Camp Counselor course and internship)
• Ground transportation (transfers from Munich or Hamburg to your chosen camp are not included)
• Language courses
• 24 hours emergency contact
• Camp counselor recognition at the end of your camp stay

Am I eligible?
You must:
• Be a minimum of 19 years old at time of application
• Have experience working with children

Employment information
Working as a camp counselor or English teacher you can expect to earn between €50 to €200 per week. Bear in mind you will essentially be volunteering your time with children and staff with the aim of gaining amazing skills and experiencing European camp life for a number of weeks. Therefore, view your salary as beer money.
