Chicagoans take their beer very seriously, so no trip to the Windy City is complete without a visit to a few of their fantastic craft beer breweries and taprooms. Many breweries have great food too.

Chicago is a sports-lovers paradise. Few American cities are as passionate about their professional sports teams. If you can't make it to a game, be sure to visit one of their lively sports bars.

Home of one ot the largest LGBTQ communities in the Midwest, Boystown is located north of the Loop in West Lakeview. Head there for fab cocktail bars and nightclubs, plus trendy stores and theaters.

Chicago neighborhoods

At first glance, the number of neighborhoods in Chicago can be overwhelming. Chicago truly is a huge city made up of a bunch of small neighborhoods, each adding their own charm, history and attitute to create this fascinating city by the lake. Here are a few of our favorite spots.

Chicago Loop

This downtown Chicago area is home to so many of Chicago's attractions, like the Cloud Gate monument (affectionatly known as The Bean), Millenium Park, the Riverwalk and more! Don't miss seeing it all over 1,300 feet in the air from the Willis Tower Skydeck. 

Lincoln Park

Lincoln Park neighborhood is named after the park of the same name. Be sure to check out the LIncoln Park Zoo, before hitting the great shopping, restaurants and bars for an authentic Chicago experience.

Wrigleyville

This 100+ year old neighborhood is centered around Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs. Once a working-class neighborhood, Wrigleyville is now home to great restaurants, sports bars and of course baseball.

Chinatown

Chicago's Chinatown neighborhood is home to great restaurants, bakeries, museums, shopping and more. Pop over to this part of town for some great dim sum, tasty noodles and unique stores.
