Chile's must-sees

Much like many of its Latin American counterparts, Chile is bursting with unforgettable scenery, jaw-dropping landscapes, animated locals and a thriving capital city.

As one of the most beautiful capital cities on Earth, Santiago is nestled under the Andes and is called ‘home’ by over a third of Chile’s population. Santiago marries the old and new with historic colonial buildings, modern skyscrapers and opulent hotels.

Do I need a Visa?

As a US passport holder planning to stay for less than 90 days, you do not need a visa to visit Chile. If you’re thinking about staying longer than 90 days, you should speak with the Chilean Embassy, which is based in Washington DC. If you decide to stay longer than 980 days whilst in Chile, you’ll need to visit the Chile’s Immigration Department.

How to get to Easter Island

Easter Island is located 2,000 miles off Chile's west coast - the only way of getting there is by one of the daily flights from Santiago via LATAM Airlines.
